Chong bought this hello kitty cake for his girlfriend EVA upcoming birthday on 27th of August.
7'' strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream, covered with pink fondant.

Bing (hubby's brother) likes the cake very much with hints of strawberry flavour ^^

Cake decorated with white bottom borders, hello kitty, large pink bow, blue and white circles and happy birthday plaque :)

This cake is pretty tall, taller than a regular cake :)

Happy Birthday to you Eva!

Cake touched up by pearl glaze spray, giving it a shinny and attractive finish^^

MIA 1st Birthday Party :)

Say Happy Birthday to Mia!
10'' square chocolate mudcake covered with fondant and decorated with handcrafted figurines :)
It took me a while to do the cake, and this cake is a real challenge for me as it is big and lots of figurines!
The baby blocks are the hardest one as it is very hard to get perfect square shape :P
I am glad that I finish it and I am happy with the outcome too^^

Miss Bunny, Miss Duckie, Mr Teddy and Mr Doggie will be attending Mia's birthday party ^^

Ready to be delivered ^^
Grace loves the cake, hope they have a great party with Mia :)

Party at home, the playground~~~
Very cute birthday girl - Mia in koala bear costume :

7'' square cake with pink baby booties :)

First covering a square cake, decorated with handcrafted pink booties.
I know I can make a better pair of booties next time, well nice attempt!
Little baby footprints on the side of the name.
This is a very simple design.
Covering a square cake can be very tricky compare to round cake, thank you to Janique that shows me the trick in doing this beautiful cake :)

Something new - pearls border :)

2 tiers cake for parents 33rd anniversary, pink flowers theme with handcrafted figurines :)

Congratulation to bobby's parent for their 33rd anniversary, how sweet :)
This is my first 2 tiers cake, such a great challenge ^^

This is made of chocolate mudcake with 8'' base and 7'' top.

Phew luckily the cake come out great and within my expectation :)

2 butterflies are added when I touch up the cake :)

The hardest part in making this cake is to deliver the cake, I am so worry that the flowers gonna fall off and the figurines are gonna shake.

Glue them 2 days before, so everything is firm and stable ^^

I also did extra cookies for them as a little gift :)

Hope they will love the cake.

Captain "E" Helmet Cake and Cookies for Ethan's 5th Big Day

My first time making such a great challenge - a semi sphere cake (half cut egg shape)
Actually I am working 5 days in a week now, so barely can squeeze any time to make orders especially fondant cake.
But I still try my best to reach my customer's needs, I know I will be able to learn a lot too from here hehe

Elaine specially design this cake and ask me to make it for his son's 5th birthday.
A very simple design but will show lots of mistake if procedure is not done correctly.
10'' chocolate mud cake with ganache filling and thin layer of fondant.

Well, the hardest part of making this cake is when covering the cake with fondant because of the round surface makes it to have lots of wrinkle and imperfection.
So I have to cover the ugly part with some decoration and ribbon keke

An additional exception that I also make him 25 pieces of cookies, my first batch of fondant cookies actually :p
I am pretty happy with the results actually. What do you think?
I think the next cookies order will be much much better :)

Guess what this cake is so heavy like around 3-4 Kilo due to the weight of mudcake, ganache and fondant.
Good thing is they all like my cake and cookies,  I think this order is worth of my time making it  along with another 2 cake orders this week :p
Happy Birthday Ethan! Hope you will love this cake :)

Chocolate Mudcake & Vanilla Cupcakes for Isla's 1st Birthday

This is my very first fondant cake order from my friend's sister.
She is ordering this cake for her daughter 1st birthday party.
At first I thought she is after fresh cream cake or cream cake, but then she says she wants a fondant cake. A bit nervous but I am getting exciting!
The picture in the top is the design of the cake she wants me to make, she design it all by herself so sweet~~

Chocolate cake is the flavour that she is after, hmm sounds yummy for both kids and adults yea?
Obviously, Isla loves pink color hehehehe

Everything is done according to the design, except for few things that I amended after few discussion with her.
The bunny looks a bit different, I try my best to make it look as exact as possible but somehow picture from computer cannot be applied to decoration as everything is handcrafted so it might look weird if I do 100% the same.
She doesn't mind at all ahaha, luckily~~~~~
I am very happy that her family actually say "WOW" when they see the cake hehe.
Katie and her family all love my work, this makes me in a very good mood all day long^^
I learn how to make the ribbon/bow from a cake book, this look really pretty
and nice isn't?
A picture sent from Ji Sung's phone, here's the birthday girl Isla ^^
I didnt see her when I delivered the cake, but she looks so cute~~~
Lover her Pinky pink dress!

She also order a dozen of cupcakes to go with the big cake, vanilla cucpakes with pink butter icing and decorated with rainbow thousands and fresh strawberry :)

It took me some time to finish this gumpaste decoration in advance.
Hearts, butterflies, little flowers, bunny and some alphabets all done^^

Again, trying on new recipe from a book, I am also using new recipe for the chocolate mud cake.
This cupcakes recipe turn out very good, not over rising or flowing out in the oven, not peeling off from the patty pan when it is bakes. This is the major problem that I am facing all the time, now no more problem with the new recipe yay ^^
The recipe is just enough for a dozen of cupcakes, not too less and not too much, I love this recipe and finally~~~~

Same thing applies to my chocolate mud cake, nice and good texture with nice flavour.
This is what I am gonna use for future chocolate mud cake orders hehehehe
Pink butter icing is piped on the cupcakes, looking nice and even.
This is what I gonna do at my workplace soon, ah I am so nervous~~~~~

Being a cake decorator is fun sometimes, but if you are pushed by someone
under a stress and new environment, everything can be so different and bad ><

I think the cupcake looks pretty even without the strawberry hehehe, what do you think

Got this little gift treat when I am delivering the cake to her house, filled with lollies and green tea bag^^ so sweet ~~~~~
Happy birthday to you Isla :) Wish you stay healthy and happy, getting prettier and sweet :)
