Watermelon Treats

Hi all, summer is here!
Get something refreshing and cool~~~~~~
For simple recipe, please visit :
http://www.asweetpeachef.com/ice-cream/watermelon-sorbet/

Treat yourself with the watermelon desserts which you can simply make at home.
Here I make my homemade watermelon juice and sorbet, the only thing you will
be craving in this warm summer ^^

Who doesn't like watermelon?????
Watermelon is one of the most juicy and refreshing fruits as it contains 90% water!
Just simple put it in the fridge for few hours before having it, ahhh it just so cool and nice to be eaten!
For more, just blend it in a blender and add some lemon/ lime juice, sugar syrup and ice cubes, there you get a glass of watermelon juice!
How simple is that ?
We need to puree and strain the watermelon for the sorbet to get fine
icy texture. Even watermelon itself is sweet enough, but a bit of sugar syrup
should be added into the sorbet/ juice.
This is because cold and frozen desserts might
drop in sweetness level when it gets frozen or chilled.
Its optional for you but me myself will still add some sugar syrup into my watermelon juice
and sorbet for more sweetness :)

Baby Blue Snowy Milk Sorbet with Colourful Pearls

I always wanted to taste the milky ice sorbet which I used to have in Easy Way in Malaysia few years ago, bu they r not selling anymore :(
I made this sorbet which I hope i can get a closer taste, but its not even close.
Too milky i think, and too sweet.
I want to achieve something like "bing pao".
Pearls are not good to go with this sorbet unless you serve it separately as its gonna go hard and hard to chew.

Frozen Mango Yoghurt with Mango Cubessss

With my new Cuisinart ice cream machine, I made this mango yoghurt sorbet.
Served with Mango cubes!
I love sorbet but I want something not too icey and creamy, yoghurt is the best option!
Low fat vanilla yoghurt with lots more healthy benefits, I guess its another excuse of having sorbet hehehehehe.

Fabulous Homemade Orange Sorbet

Owhhhhh, Daphne's Orange Sorbet in Frozen Orange Shell.
This sorbet is made with fresh orange juice and orange zest!
Refreshing and freezy flavour of orange.
I personally love this dessert so much ^^
